SCHERTZ

EXTENDED FAMILY

This family session was a session that in reality almost didn't happen.  Sid, the father of the family and the one in the chair, had a very serious motorcycle accident some time back and was touch and go.  After he made it home and started to come back our long time friend in the group knew she had to set something up.  So last weekend we knocked out the session. It was cold and windy!  After the shoot my fingers didn't regain feeling for about 30 minutes.  But seeing how happy she was with the results it made it worth it.  We sometimes forget how important a photograph can be.  A photograph is a frozen memory.  I love the history and emotion a picture can elicit.  In every shoot we try to focus on at least a few intimate poses.  If we 'Evoke' a thought or feeling then we've accomplished what we set out to do.  Check these out.  Im sure these will be looked at for some time.

The grandkids were totally fine with running.  Maybe they liked the warmth it brought...

We wanted to do a "manly" pose.  I don't think this could qualify for anything but....
