Ok, so this isn't a actual "business" shoot or session, but this is my blog so I can post what I like :) Let me start by saying obviously by the title this is birthday post. My mom turns 60 today. She was never one for all the fan fare or celebration so all she really wanted was time with her family, and obviously that's the least anyone can do. Let's start back years ago, I can only speak since 1980, you see that's when I met her. My mom is a special person, early on I remember one thing, we didn't have a lot. My dad never had the high paying prestigious or executive jobs, we never lived in super nice houses and the nicest cars we ever had would have been considered a working air conditioner. But looking back we never really cared. Sure at times I would go to friends houses and wish we had the latest toys, but on the large scale we didn't go on very long about our friends' things. I didn't realize until I had my own kids why that was. I understand it now. It was just simply love. Cheesy or cliche as it sounds, all you need is love. Yes Paul McCartney hit on something there. All you need is love. From when we lived in Tennessee and mom holding down the fort to when we had to live in a friends basement just to not live in our car. My mom is a super hero. I remember when I would come home from school in my unfortunate nerdy preteen aaaaaaaand into my teen years mom was always there. If she could do it she would. We never went without food or clothes. She put us first EVERYTIME. One memory I have is she would keep me home from school in kindergarten when we lived in Tennessee just because we couldn't afford a lunch for me. But I guess thats what a great mom does, she always put us first. Well the day is Feb 12 2018 and my mom is 60 years old today. I just want to say thank you mom. Thank you for the guidance, spiritual example, parental example and butt whooping you would unleash on me, trust me I needed more than I got! So 60 years has past, I hope we have 60 more. I love you mom happy birthday.
