DEATHERAGE

FAMILY

Illinois. A saying around here is "if you don't like the weather just wait, it'll change!"  Well, it changed from morning to the afternoon when we knocked out the Deatherage shoot I think at least 3 times. It started with a mild steady rain early morning, then to some short periods of big fat snowflakes then to chilly winds.  Judah held it together very well for being 2 and in the chilly wind with a guy pointing a big camera at him.  We kept his attention by constantly looking for flying monkeys.....hey, whatever it takes.  We did find out that mom hand a hand in taking care of our nephew that was in the hospital clinging to life 7 years ago.  He's all good now and we have a connection with a client that we honestly didn't know about until this shoot. Thats why I use the adage "treat everyone with respect and honesty in every aspect of your life", you never know where they might fit into your life years later.

KINNEY

FAMILY

If you follow us on our facebook page, I put up a post reading how I was shocked at how our recent "little" clients have been.  It has been windy and chilly and our little clients have been simply put, amazing.  The Kinney family braved the cold and wind and knocked out a session recently.  I know some adults that don't cooperate that well :). We have worked with the Kinney's before they became the Kinney family.  So of course with our history we had a little more fun.  We promised no sitting or squatting pics.  Oh well, despite the chilly temps we had another successful set.

CITCHENS

SIBLINGS

Tonight we notched another successful session with some of our oldest clients.  The Citchens family feel more like family than friends at this point.  We've seen the older kids grow from barely old enough to walk to now to watching little sister Lana grow.  While we are moving into a new chapter and direction, clients like these will make that transition work easier.  We try to make each session feel more like friends hanging out than a business appointment.  An experience is what we try to provide.  With great loyal clients,  that experience is exactly what drives us.
